Manye makes learning fun for all ages. Our goal with every Manye program is to provide learning that is accessible, relevant, and creative.
Primary Education Program |
Manye Academy
A merger of formal and informal education programs. Our program is guided by the principle that effective education must be enjoyable, relevant, and accessible.
The school serves as a centerpoint for Manye’s service in the village. The school is a community center for all people, with its library, computers, and informational resources.
New Projects |
Building our permanent home
We are presently constructing our first permanent school building.
This will provide classrooms to Manye Academy and a home to the Manye Foundation’s many programs that serve the community.
Computer Learning Center
The computer has proven to be a powerful asset in this community, so now we want to use it to empower the weakest in society.
Our free Computer Learning Center will be a place where all students and parents can use technology to help them learn to read, write, do math, access information, express and develop creativity, and communicate.
Quality Teacher Training and Retention
Providing a quality education starts and ends with qualified teachers who enjoy learning and teaching.
Our teacher training curriculum focuses on ways of making education enjoyable for both teacher and student.

The Manye Foundation seeks to put on events for the local families such as excursions, dancing, and health checkups.
Nutritious Meals
It’s impossible for a child to survive, let alone learn, without at least one meal a day.
Every $1 you donate means two students can enjoy a full meal for the day to help her or him learn, play and grow. That’s the perfect start to getting kids excited to learn and improve their community.
Community Partnerships
We work with the local community so that we can best serve the migrant families of Kpone Barrier and the surrounding area.
We not only build partnerships with families, we also build partnerships with local businesses and government offices to best ensure we have the resources we need and that our community gets the resources it needs.
Community Library
The Manye Foundation provides the only library in Kpone Barrier.
We especially target beginning readers, whether children or parents. We not only provide books, but we also work to make sure people can read and enjoy them.
Health Services and Programs
The Manye Foundation is uniquely positioned to ensure families receive the healthcare and health knowledge they need.
From assisting with prevention programs like the UN’s fight against Polio or providing HIV/AIDS education to providing medicines or preventitive treatment, the Manye Foundation has the respect of the community when it comes to health.

We want to ensure your resources go to the best possible services.
We are working to evaluate local practices, especially our own, so we can be sure our work is effective. We want to offer the best practices available and help other organizations in the region do the same. Similarly, we are researching how we promote teacher and student retention, because a school is nothing without students and teachers.
