Matching Grants

Your gift to a Matching Grant will multiply the impact your gift has.
One of the most important aspects of the Manye Foundation is building a relationship with our community, notably with families and businesses in the area. When we build community partnerships, people in Ghana want to know their gift is more than just one person giving money. Matching grants show people in Ghana you care. Many Ghanian businesses want to know their money will go as far as possible. These grants help get local employers and residents invested in the community. For community members in Ghana who do not have much money to offer, your gift shows them people care and want to help. This is how we connect the local and global community and get everyone invested in positive change.

With your gift of a Matching Grant, we tell our donators in Ghana who is matching their money if you specify that intent when you donate. We usually give a three month window for the grant to be fully matched. After that time or once fully matched, your grant goes to support our general services.

We request a $100 minimum for donations desigated solely for a matching grant. Don’t forget to include the name assoicated with the Matching Grant.
